About the Foundation
The David E. and Cassie L. Temple Foundation was established by long-time Tulsa educators David and Cassie Temple. The Temple Foundation began functioning in late 1995 following the death of David Temple on October 30, 1995. Cassie had preceded him in death in March 1992.

The Foundation is guided by the Board of Trustees. As Trustees, they establish the grant guidelines, policies, maintain investments of the Temple Foundation and make all final decisions regarding the acceptance or declination of grant requests. Generally, Trustees will not meet with an applicant to evaluate a proposal but at times during the decision making process may schedule a site visit to assist in making their final decision.
